Tributes to Patricia (Pat) Garrett Rooney

Patricia (Pat) Garrett Rooney, 86, entered heaven on February 4, 2023. Affectionately known as “Mrs. Pat” - was best known for never meeting a stranger.

Pat was a Central Indiana resident for over 60 years and enjoyed life as a mother and host of Kindergarten College from 1963-1966. But Pat’s passion was her community. She volunteered for numerous local organizations including the Belfry Theatre, sat on over a dozen Boards of Directors, and served as the Interim President of Conner Prairie, Legacy Fund of Hamilton County, Heartland Film Festival, and the New Harmony Project.

Donate to The Belfry Theatre in memory of former board president Patricia Garrett Rooney who served from 1972-73. Pat also performed in 14 shows between 1969-97.
