The musical features a book by Howard Lindsay & Russel Crouse, music by Richard Rodgers, and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II. The show is directed by Evan Elliott, alongside a veteran team of vocal director Brenna Whitaker, choreographer Elizabeth Pike, and stage manager Fran Knapp, all of Noblesville.

Synopsis: Among the theater's most popular, tuneful scores, “The Sound of Music” is based on the real life story of the Von Trapp Family singers, one of the world's best-known concert groups in the post-World War II era. Maria, a kind and curious postulant at an Austrian abbey, becomes a governess in the home of a widowed naval captain with seven children. Through her love of music, she breathes new life into the home.
